Jacob joined the firm full-time in August 2012, after working for the firm as a law clerk for three years.
Jacob previously worked as the newspaper reporter for the Ithaca Times and as a social worker for Challenge Industries. As a student at University at Buffalo School of Law, Jacob clerked for the 4th Judicial Department and received a Robert J. Connelly Award from the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association for excellence in trial advocacy. Since joining the firm, Jacob has focused on civil litigation (plaintiff and defendant), employment law and criminal defense. He has successfully represented cases through arbitrations, appeals, administrative hearings and bench and jury trials. Jacob presently practices in state court and in federal court in the Northern and Western Districts.
