Often when a person dies, unfinished business and property issues must be resolved by surviving loved ones. Collectively, such property and unfinished business constitutes that person's estate. Estate administration is the distribution of that property and the winding up of unfinished business in accordance with the will of the decedent, or -- if there is no will -- as required by law.
We recognize that, especially with the death of a loved one, the administration of an estate can be confusing and even overwhelming. Accordingly, we ease the burden by carefully explaining the process and rules, by assisting the named executor or the administrator in settling the estate, by compassionate guidance in the important decisions to be made, and by ensuring that everything is resolved efficiently, in a timely manner, and in compliance with the law.
We also have extensive experience and expertise in representing clients in estate litigation.
