Mary Jo joined the firm in 2017 and works primarily with attorney Nina Aasen in areas of wills & estate planning and education law.

Mary Jo started her career as a paralegal in 1995 with a general practice Ithaca firm, working on a broad range of legal topics through 2014. In 2014, she joined her primary supervisor as he branched off into a sole practice focusing on bankruptcy, family law, divorce, real estate and criminal defense.

Mary Jo is a lifelong resident of Tompkins County and earned dual Associate's Degrees in applied science with a focus in paralegal studies and office technology from Tompkins Cortland Community College.

Mary Jo Cobb also handles billing in conjunction with Miranda Fisher.
